For the last two years, I have committed to at least one substantial photography shoot per month. In March 2020, COVID-19 struck the world and me. I had no inspiration, and due to the virus, no energy. I spent a lot of time staring at the ceiling of my apartment with no ability to pursue the landscapes I loved. As I lay there, I became entranced with the light that was playing across the surface, particularly the changes over the day and into the night. The light became a metaphor for the beauty that was still there in the world; it was just different, not what I expected, and it was there even in my isolation.
